The Company’s principal business activity is to produce thermal electricity. Specifically, it involves in the development, construction and operation of Mong Duong 2 Thermal Power Plant under the Build-Operate-Transfer (“BOT”) model for a period of 25 years. The Company’s plant is located in Mong Duong Ward, Quang Ninh Province. . This is a coal-fired thermal plant, including 2 generators with the combined capacity of 1,242 MW. In 2015, the Company started its commercial operation of Unit 1 in March and Unit 2 in April . The head office of the Company is located at the same location of the plant.
