Về công ty
Steven R. Baeteman was born in Ostend, Belgium in 1974. From early age he was inspired by the Flemish furniture designers and wood workers. He earned an interior design degree from the Bijloke school of Architecture and design, Ghent, followed by a masters degree in multi media at the University of Plymouth, arts & education, UK. He moved to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in August of 2000 where he has been creating spaces for 20 years.
We are an architecture and design practice based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam & Bali, Indonesia. Our studio and its team have acquired a broad range of experience across culture, hospitality, housing, furniture and art. From the onset, a definite relationship between architecture, interior and landscape design has been the driving force behind the conception of projects inspired by subtle transitions between these disciplines and combined with a spatial design attitude, constantly striving for the essence.
We create spaces with meticulous attention to detail, and with focus on function and sensory pleasure in mind. We believe that well considered design improves our experiences and our lives. It is our goal to bring local soul into our spaces. We strive to create modern and comfortable spaces with a local essence and spirit. We have respect for the local craftsmanship, materials, habits and traditions. It is our responsibly as a designer to bring the local culture forward into the future in an elegant and sustainable way.
Steven Baeteman has worked with multiple brands including Alila Resorts, Amari Resorts, Blush Beach Club, Fiore Health Resort, Hideaway Monkey Lodges, Indochina Capital, Keppel Land, Naman Pure Spa, Thai Airways, Unios Lighting, Wyndham, and more...
