(VRCT), which was established in the Lom Bien district of Hanoi, Vietnam on April 29, 1995, started full-scale production of blown glass crafts and exporting to Japan until 2019. Nearly 200 employees were working in VRCT, and its daily production was 3,000 pcs per day. However, due to the city`s redevelopment project in Long Bien district, VRCT needed to relocate the factory because the land leasing contract with Hanoi City was due on December 31, 2020. Because of these facts, we decided to establish a new company, “Vietnam Glass Craft Production Co., Ltd” and factory in Dong Van 3 Industrial Zone in Ha Nam. Purpose of establishment of Vietnam Glass Craft Production 1. New market development in Vietnam Until now, domestic sales approval was not obtained, but the new company has received formal retail sales license approval. We are now able to sell our glasses to domestic and overseas customers. 2. Promotional activities that shed light on Vietnamese glass craftsmen The new company keep more than 15 skilled glass craftsmen who have continued to work from the previous company, most of them are over 20-year experience. We will carry out exhibitions and other dissemination activities so that they will become the first glass craftsmen in Vietnam. 3. Creating human resources for glass craftsmen as a new craft in Vietnam Glass crafts in Vietnam must be created by Vietnamese people, and the manufacturing and sales know-how cultivated by VGCP will be passed on to Vietnamese people to develop/expand the opportunities of glass craft in Vietnam
