FORUM8 has been providing state-of-the-art technologies in the fields of CG/VR, FEM analysis, BIM/CIM/CAD, and web cloud. Since the company establishment in 1987, we have software and technologies that support civil engineering and architectural design, including structural design, based on software package development technology. With the development of virtual reality in recent years, FORUM8 products can now be widely utilized in an entire project, including research of traffic and automobile, and information systems. Through the pursuing of up & coming technologies such as AI, FORUM8 is constantly customizing solutions, linking software and hardware to build systems that better meet the needs of users. Currently, FORUM8 has 10 offices and development centers in Japan, 6 overseas offices in China (Shanghai, Qingdao), Taiwan, Vietnam, Myanmar, London, and a larger network of dealers all over the world. Our main customers include government organizations and advanced educational institutions. We identify the needs of our customers and comprehensively propose products, solutions, and customized technical support that well address those needs. The joy and sense of mission in supporting the foundation of social activities is appealing, as our proposals are introduced widely in educational, research and administrative purposes across the globe. For example, in February 2014, we provided a large 8DOF simulator for China Ministry of Transportation as an order fulfilment for in an international bid in January 2009. In August 2020, our UC-win/Road safe driving simulator acquired the type approval for driving simulators from Japan Commission of National Public Safety. It can be used for driving training in driving schools, license exam centers and police institutions in Japan. In the future, we plan to conduct sales activities of this product on a global scale. In addition, FORUM8 participates in industry-leading symposiums such as SIGGRAPH and the ITS World Congress annually to keep track of cutting-edge technological trends, and to showcase our core technologies to visitors from all over the world through exhibitions. In addition to exhibiting at local academic institutions and exhibitions, FORUM8 regularly plan and organize our product training seminars from overseas offices. Our 33rd FY term (ended in Sep 2019) sales results reached a record high of 4,274 million JPY (1.1% increase in sales compared to last FY term). As FORUM8 continues to grow, we will continue expanding our global business to bring Japanese technologies to the world.
