- Bachelor‘s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, System Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Backend Engineering, or related software engineering roles.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Node.js, or similar backend technologies.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL, including data modeling and query optimization.
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines, data ingestion processes, and integrating data from APIs, databases, files, or messaging systems.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs, Microservices Architecture, distributed systems, and backend application development.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of data security, access control, monitoring, logging, and production troubleshooting.
- Graduates or engineers trained within Vingroup programs or VinUni alumni are highly encouraged.

We are looking for a Data Engineer with a strong backend engineering foundation to design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines, data services, and cloud-based data platforms.
The ideal candidate should have solid experience in data engineering, backend development, databases, and cloud infrastructure, with the ability to work across data integration, APIs, ETL/ELT, and production operations.
This role is ideal for:

- Engineers trained in VinBigData/ VinAI.. P&L programs
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data integration services from multiple internal and external data sources.
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs for data ingestion, access, synchronization, and system integration.
- Design and optimize databases, data models, data warehouses/lakes, and analytical workloads for performance and scalability.
- Develop and operate cloud-based data platforms on AWS/Azure/GCP, leveraging managed compute, storage, database, and data processing services.
- Implement and maintain workflow orchestration, batch/stream processing, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and infrastructure automation.
- Ensure data quality, security, governance, reliability, and availability, while collaborating with Backend, DevOps, BI, and business teams.
