ABOUT OUR COMPANY
We are a dynamic, fast-scaling D2C e-commerce retailer on a mission to deliver a seamless, customer-centric shopping experience. As we grow, we're looking for a Demand Planner & Analyst to own the numbers behind product availability — keeping our products in stock without overstocking, and optimizing inventory and cost along the way.
This is a hands-on, quantitative role: you'll forecast demand and calculate the right stock levels, combine data from across the business (sales, returns, inventory) into clear trends and recommendations, and work with logistics partners to turn those plans into on-time availability. If you like building the forecast yourself, digging into messy data to find the signal, and seeing your numbers drive real inventory decisions, this role is for you.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Demand Planning (40% - primary focus)
- Build and own demand forecasts, directly calculating order quantities, replenishment timing, and target stock levels across products and channels.
- Translate sales demand, seasonality, and campaign signals into concrete stock plans that prevent both stockouts and overstock.
- Align stock arrival plans with observed sales performance and supplier/production timelines to ensure product availability.
- Continuously adjust forecasts and stock plans as demand and returns data shift.
Data Analysis & Reporting (30%)
- Combine and reconcile data from multiple sources — sales demand, product returns, inventory, in-transit stock — into a single, reliable view.
- Analyze trends and stock-level health, and turn the data into clear insights and recommendations for management on inventory, sales plans, and supply chain improvements.
- Build and maintain reporting on key inventory KPIs (stock levels, order fulfillment rate, DO age, coverage, turnover, returns rate).
- Use data-driven analysis to sharpen replenishment and allocation decisions.
Logistics & Fulfillment Operations (30%)
- Coordinate with factories, 3PLs, and logistics partners to execute stock plans and ensure on-time inbound and delivery.
- Monitor and resolve fulfillment exceptions (delays, damages, routing) and keep inventory records accurate across warehouses and systems.
- Ensure order allocation supports availability goals, SLA compliance, and cost-saving strategies, working with customer service and tech teams on fulfillment issues.
