Qualifications & Competencies:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Industrial Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in building electrical design, estimation, including direct experience of high-end resort/hotel projects (candidates who have worked on at least 2–3 medium/large-scale resort projects are preferred).
• Experience, knowledgeable in extra low voltage (ELV) and fire alarm systems in compliance with Vietnamese national standards (TCVN).
• Solid understanding of the calculation principles, layout, and coordination of other MEP systems serving apartments/villas, including HVAC (cooling), water supply and drainage.
• Strong understanding of lighting design:
o Knowledgeable in lighting systems for indoor and outdoor spaces (gardens, swimming pools, walkways, landscape) in compliance with TCVN standards.
o Able to select lighting fixtures suited to the resort's architectural/interior concept (decorative lighting, architectural lighting, landscape lighting, wall-wash lighting, underwater pool lighting, etc.).
o Able to coordinate with architects/light designers to ensure aesthetics are balanced with energy efficiency.
• Solid understanding of lighting control systems:
• Knowledgeable and experienced in implementing control protocols: DALI, KNX, DMX, 0-10V, or smart lighting control systems integrated with BMS Preference for candidates who have worked with international design consultancy firms or projects with a foreign element (5-star and above resorts, international brands).
• Proficient in software: AutoCAD, Revit, DiaLux/Relux, etc.
• Solid command of electrical system design standards.
• Clear understanding of resort lighting characteristics: balancing aesthetics (mood lighting, ambient lighting) with energy efficiency.
• Experience coordinating with ID (Interior Designers) and specialized Lighting Designers — able to read, calculate, and prepare a full budget based on lighting concept drawings.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Sensitive to aesthetics/guest experience (the resort industry requires a different mindset compared to purely industrial construction).
• Multi-party coordination skills: architects, ID, lighting consultants, investors.
• Able to handle the nature of resort projects, which often involve frequent design changes driven by aesthetic requirements during implementation.
• Experience with solar power/energy storage systems (PV, BESS) is a strong advantage (in line with the green/energy-saving resort trend).
• Experience on industrial projects is a plus
• Honesty, loyalty and dedication are a must.

Description of the organization’s expectation:
It is important that all IG Asia Vietnam (IGAV) employees have a clear understanding of the expectations of their duties and responsibilities. This job description outlines the major responsibilities for this role and is a guide to the employees, and their managers, as to their overall responsibilities. The employee recognizes that they may be required to undertake work that is outside of the specifics of this job description from time to time, as required and requested to do so for the good operations of IG Asia Vietnam, and they agree to undertake all reasonable and lawful instructions provided to them.
Responsibilities:
• Estimation, develop design electrical (LV, ELV) systems (if necessary) for estimation of resort projects including villas, technical buildings, hotels, beach clubs, amenity zones (sport facilities, spa, restaurants, etc.).
• Responsible for quantity take-off from sketch, concept design, tender drawing, and cross check the tender quantity
• Work closely with design team, calculate bill of quantity (BOQ), cost estimation of project.
• Control works quality and time schedules within group.
• Prepare and submit tender document.
• Collect and formulate cost database and other related to professional job.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to collect the cost proposal and make the cost comparison sheet.
• Study and make value engineering.
• Ensure that commercial management tools, reports, processes, and procedures are used in accordance with IDEC group standards.
• Recommendation of appointment of tenderers
