• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the event field, with at least 3 years of experience managing a team.
• Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills; confident in acting as an MC.
• Fluent English is a must (Writing and Speaking)
• Excellent organizational, budgeting, and project management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and event planning tools.
• Familiarity with basic media and content promotion processes.
• Own personal means of transportation.
• Good physical health and Willing to travel and work weekends occasionally during event periods.
Working Location
Atlantic office: 33 Lac Trung, Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi & Partner schools in Hanoi, depending on event schedules and program requirements.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday and Saturday morning.
Morning: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
Afternoon: 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM.
As this is a managerial position, working hours may be adjusted based on workload, event schedules, and operational requirements.
The Event Manager is responsible for planning, budgeting, and overseeing the execution of all extra-curricular activities across partner schools. These activities aim to foster an English-speaking environment and promote students’ soft skills and confidence through project work, competitions, debates, and other interactive formats.
The role includes close coordination with internal teams and external school partners. The Event Manager also serves as an MC during events and ensures quality media coverage and promotion across digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Planning & Management
• Develop and maintain the annual calendar of extra-curricular events aligned with
academic goals and school partner expectations.
• Design event concepts and formats (competitions, project work showcases, English
clubs, debates, etc.) in collaboration with the Academic team.
• Develop detailed project plans for each event, including objectives, timelines, budgets,
resource requirements, and contingency plans.
• Share the event plans with partner schools and have them agree on the plan before
implementation.
2. Budgeting & Reporting
• Prepare budgets for each event and monitor expenditures to ensure alignment with
approved limits.
• Provide timely event reports including feedback, outcomes, lessons learned, and
improvement recommendations.
3. Execution & Quality Monitoring
• Oversee pre-event preparations to ensure logistics, content, and personnel are ready.
• Monitor the on-site delivery of events to ensure quality and consistency.
• Act as MC or facilitator during events to engage students and represent the organization.
4. Media & Promotion
• Ensure each event is professionally photographed and filmed, with a short edited video
and a set of high-quality photos produced.
• Ensure finalized media content is posted on the partner school's website (if applicable)
and the company’s event fanpage and/or communication channels promptly and in line
with branding guidelines.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
• Collaborate closely with school representatives, Operations team, and Academic team to
ensure smooth coordination and high engagement.
• Serve as the main contact point for all extra-curricular event-related matters with school
partners.
Manage and supervise a team of event staff and other part-time staff involved in event operations.
