ABOUT YOUR ROLEManages major aspects of the corporation’s internal and external financial reporting process. Prepares financial statements for review by Financial Reporting Head, maintaining all supporting documentation. Assists with external review/audit pro.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE1. Key responsibilitiesFinancial Control & Reporting• Oversee month-end closing, financial controls, and compliance to ensure adherence to regulations, professional standards, and company policies.• Manage the preparation and distribution of financial management reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.• Anticipate and address questions from management and stakeholders to prevent financial surprises and maintain transparency.• Analyze potential investments, divestitures, and new business opportunities, preparing all related financial reports.Financial Planning & Analysis• Lead complex planning and analysis for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Plan, providing insightful recommendations to management.• Manage forecasting and budgeting processes, analyzing variances from planned results to provide commentary and recommendations.• Conduct in-depth financial studies, including product profitability analysis and benchmarking, to identify opportunities for improvement• Support headcount planning and coordination across departmentsProcess Improvement & Strategic Support• Act as a leader or key participant in cross-functional projects aimed at improving processes and profitability.• Formulate and implement policies and plans to increase the organization’s financial performance.• Handle ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as requested by the Head of Department2. Management• Act as a team role model and change agent, promoting the company’s Code of Business Ethics and Values• Train and provide development opportunities for junior staff, offering guidance and mentorship.• Positively lead and influence team members and cross-functional partners to achieve business goals.3.
