The role is responsible for financial planning for a group of overseas holding companies and for the coordination with the overseas accounting services office, the company secretary and the appointed auditors. In addition, this role provides support to the CFO on a wide range of topics related to vetting of investment proposals, M&A activities, implementation of accounting policies, etc. This position works closely with the Finance & Accounting (FA) Department and many other Departments. Effective coordination- and communication with internal- as well as external stakeholders is essential. 1. Financial Planning and Administration for overseas holding companies • Prepare Budgets and Quarterly forecasts for a group of overseas holding companies. • Prepare financial reporting with comments to main developments versus Budget. • Monitor cash management and loans, coordinate extensions of intercompany loans. • Review draft audited financial statements and coordinate with auditors for finalization. • Provide valuation of individual assets and shareholdings as may be required in connection with the annual audit or otherwise. • Coordinate with overseas secretariats and stakeholders for compliance matters and other corporate administration issues. 2. Investment- and M&A activities • Support the CFO and appointed advisors in connection with Due Diligence, valuations, financial modeling, etc. as may be required in connection with investment- and M&A. • Review financial models prepared by Business Development Department and provide comments on the integrity of the model, the assumptions used, etc. 3.
