Internal Audit Expert

Position Summary:

• This position is responsible for executing/supporting internal audit reviews as per the approved internal audit plan to evaluate if:
• The internal control processes and systems of the Company have been established and operate effectively to prevent, detect, and manage key risks.
• Governance and risk management processes have been established and operate effectively.
• The implementation of strategic objectives of the company is reviewed and reported as required.

Job Description:

• Annual audit planning: Assist Internal Audit Manager to develop the annual audit plan based on risk-based approach and the requirements of Board of Directors and Management.
• Internal audit execution and follow-up:
• Assist the Internal Audit Manager in developing audit programs, consolidating and reporting audit findings and recommendations, and conducting audit follow-up activities to ensure that agreed recommendations and action plans are implemented appropriately.
• Independently perform assigned audit procedures, gather and analyze information, prepare working papers, document audit findings, and communicate with audited entities.
• Assist Internal Audit Manager to prepare periodic and ad-hoc internal audit reports to Board of Directors, Audit Committees and Management.
• Assist the Internal Audit Manager in other assigned tasks and maintain the professional knowledge, skills, experience and certifications required for the position.
