  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Good experience in mechanical or mechatronics product assembly.
  • Product knowledge expertise.
  • Problem-solving techniques.
  • LEAN Manufacturing & Management experience is a plus.
  • Have over 5 years of working experience related to mechanical or mechatronics product assembly.
  • Have knowledge of electrical parts or products.
  • Be able to troubleshoot.
  • Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing & ISO 9001:2015.
  • Initiative, innovative, energetic and problem solver.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good sense of customer focus.
  • Good at working on details with efficiency.
  • Be flexible with business trips.
  • Pro-active, open, honest and trustworthy. Able to work under pressure and work relatively long hours when necessary.
  • Fluent English both in oral and written. Chinese is a plus.
  • ERP (SAP or BAAN).

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the continual improvement of the product and its manufacturing process, drive CPR & CTR programs.
  • Lead systematic problem solving in daily work.
  • Co-work with the assembly team to continually improve existing assembly processes, tooling and documents to ensure a high level of QLTC performance.
  • Cooperate with the NPI team to ensure a smooth handover of a product from NPI to mass production, including assembly hours setting, WI, checklist, etc.
  • Work with the assembly team on competency development of the assemblers.
  • Provide technical support/expertise to the assembly team in problem troubleshooting.
  • Interface with the Quality Assurance team to execute in-process checking, solve problems and provide RCA, CAPA for customer quality complaints or in-process quality defects/findings (PDCA).
  • Lead EC implementation internally when applicable.
  • Cooperate with other functional teams in assessing new vendors and setting up new facilities and processes.
  • Develop and conduct training including technical, LEAN manufacturing concepts and tools for operational operators.
  • Participate in EHS-related actions to improve plant safety in all areas.
  • Other jobs assigned by superiors.
