Marine Systems Design: • Perform engineering calculations using empirical formulae from Classification Regulations as well as first principles. • Perform Marine Systems calculations in accordance with industry standards and recognized marine criteria. • Prepare Marine Systems drawing packages for submission to Classification Societies. • Provide advanced technical input to specifications and drawings. 2. Engineering Analysis: • Perform engineering studies, technical evaluations, and various analyses/ studies. 3. Leadership: • Guide junior engineers in Marine Systems design and engineering techniques and development. • Supervise and lead Marine Systems teams within the office and across other offices. • Take the role of team lead on large-scale Marine Systems projects. • Willingness to lead functional groups within the company (i.e. user groups, quality, etc.). • In addition to performing discrete technical tasks within larger projects, the employee may perform the role of Project Managers. 4. Process Improvement: • Propose modifications to existing policies, primarily within the discipline or assigned functional group. 5.
