BS or above in Business Management or related field with 5 years of working experience preferred

Experience in sourcing and operations for seasonal categories is preferred.

At least 5-7 years’ experience into sourcing for leading retailers

Strong problem solving and excellent organizational and project management skills,

Fluent in both verbal and written English, willing to travel regularly within Vietnam and abroad

Chinese speaking/Experience with Chinese vendors would be a plus

CPM and/or CPIM certification preferred;

Knowledge and experience of global sourcing, international trading, manufacturing and engineering, design is preferred;

Computer literacy including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project;

Strong sense of logic, analytical skill

Strong time management skills: Prioritize the task on hand and can set up timeline and execute

Result-oriented execution

High passion and fast learner

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Sourcing from multiple media, websites, trade shows for new suppliers / new products in Asia area

Keep track and understand market technique trends. Research competitors’ products, pricing, and product success to determine customer preferences and missing opportunities.

Deep dive on products, understand cost structure and their impact on sales, turns and GMROI (Gross Margin Return on Investment)

Business acumen: can identify the business opportunities, provide suggestions and sales pitch to PDM to drive business volume and achieve sales goal.

Identify business opportunities to drive cost competitiveness and margin improvement.

Mapping and ranking suppliers in logic to support business decisions, able to create and refresh supplier landscape.

Be captain of project, lead and coordinate with mutiple teams such as Supplier Quality Engineer, Package, Logistic for key project development

Project management: effectively manage project timelines and deliver high-quality results.

Source, evaluate, develop and grow suppliers’/manufacturers relationship within product category.

Can lead the key communication related with business with suppliers and develop partner relationships with key vendors.

Building strong relationships with our customers + our vendors from different backgrounds

Can handle crisis cases properly with strong communication skills and be a solution provider.

Organize comparison sheets and additional supporting documentation to provide a comprehensive analysis on product specifications, cost and vendors’ competitiveness to assist decision makers (Product Development Merchants).

Provide coaching to suppliers during the on-boarding process to ensure compliance and documents collection: SSK, SBA, RTV, NDA, Financial and Legal certifications, etc. Coach new suppliers on boarding process and ensure onboarding due date is met.

Prepare and administer completion of vendor profile, SWOT, FCQA and factory visit reports. Captain in sourcing trip mapping and arrangement of trip itineraries, vendor preparation and the arrangement of accommodations including hotel booking and transportation.
