Must-have qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software testing or Quality Engineering, with a strong focus on test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and Playwright.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
- Experience testing enterprise web applications, APIs, integrations, and end-to-end workflows.
- Practical experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of test design, regression testing, integration testing, test data management, and defect management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile, cross-functional product teams.
- Good English communication and documentation skills.
- Strong ownership, attention to detail, and a product-oriented mindset.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Experience with OutSystems or other Low-Code/No-Code platforms.
- Practical experience applying Generative AI or Agentic AI in software testing.
- Knowledge of API automation, performance testing, security, accessibility, or resilience testing.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, observability, and production monitoring.
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will design scalable automation frameworks, strengthen end-to-end product quality, and explore AI-driven testing solutions. You will collaborate with global Product, Engineering, Architecture, DevOps, and Operations teams to improve reliability, test coverage, and release efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Test Design & Strategy
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify risks, edge cases, and potential defects early.
- Design test scenarios and test cases using risk-based and shift-left testing approaches.
- Ensure traceability across requirements, test cases, defects, and releases.
2. Test Automation Engineering
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python and Playwright.
- Automate web applications, APIs, integrations, workflows, and approval processes.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve test stability, maintainability, and execution speed.
- Perform exploratory and manual testing where appropriate.
3. Integration & Performance Testing
- Validate complex end-to-end workflows across multiple systems.
- Conduct API, integration, performance, load, scalability, and resilience testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform reliability and production readiness.
4. AI-Driven Quality Engineering
- Explore AI applications in test generation, test data preparation, defect analysis, and regression optimization.
- Investigate Generative AI and Agentic AI for intelligent test execution and continuous quality improvement.
- Evaluate the impact of AI adoption on test coverage, productivity, and defect detection.
5. Quality Reporting & Collaboration
- Monitor test execution, defects, automation health, and release risks.
- Provide quality dashboards, reports, and actionable improvement recommendations.
- Support root-cause analysis, share best practices, and mentor other QA engineers.
