Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Management or Business Administration or equivalent.
Educational background of Engineering & Technology is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Training Operations in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in OJT program management, competency development, and training system administration is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Strong planning, coordination, and project management skills to manage OJT programs and training initiatives effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage training data, competency matrices, and training effectiveness tracking.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Production, Engineering and other cross-functional teams.

BASIC FUNCTION OF THE JOB
This position will lead on the job (OTJ), technical training for assigned BU(s), to provide training-related support, coordination, administrative and delivering learning solutions to address operation training needs for Production Areas with a specific focus on providing OTJ, Technicaltraining for direct labour employees and taking part in training-related projects to enhance the manufacturing performance through training solutions. This requires the co-ordination of the plant-wide level. Mand execution of plans in accordance with group standards and within the required KPI benchmarks.
Scope of works:
OJT Training Management
Manage operator OJT training activities, including training enrolment, delivery, completion, qualification, and certification.
Maintain training materials and assessment documents, ensuring they are up to date and aligned with actual manufacturing processes and workstation requirements.
Coordinate OJT knowledge and skill assessments, supporting production teams in completing training requirements effectively and on schedule.
Regularly review OJT programs and training processes to ensure training quality and support operational performance.
Monitor workforce qualification distribution and coordinate employee development activities to support skill progression and workforce capability requirements.
Monitor training costs and support workforce qualification objectives through effective training planning and implementation.
Trainers Performance Management
Conduct trainer development programs to promote training standards, policies, and accountability.
Deliver train-the-trainer programs, including training methods, coaching techniques, and assessment skills, to enhance trainer effectiveness.
Develop and maintain trainer qualification and performance evaluation criteria to ensure a structured and consistent training system.
Conduct regular training audits and shopfloor observations to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
Facilitate training review meetings to share best practices, analyse training challenges, and identify improvement opportunities.
Provide guidance and support to trainers in delivering OJT and workstation qualification training.
Workstation & Workforce Qualification Management
Assist Engineering in setting up and maintaining workstation structures based on manufacturing processes to support employee training.
Support the classification of workstations and workforce qualification levels according to operational requirements.
Maintain workstation information and qualification records, ensuring all data accurately reflect shopfloor operations.
Coordinate periodic workstation audits and monitor workforce qualification requirements to meet business needs.
Training System Development
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve digital systems for OJT training management and administration.
Manage workstation qualification and employee certification processes through training systems to ensure effective capability tracking and control.
Configure and maintain system workflows, notifications, access controls, and process updates in accordance with business requirements.
Ensure all training and qualification records are electronically maintained and readily available for reporting, traceability, and audit purposes.
