THE CANADIAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL SYSTEM (CISS): - The Canadian International School (CIS) offers Kindergarten – Grade 12 students the Ontario curriculum. The IB Diploma Programme is also offered to students in Grades 11 and 12. - The Bilingual Canadian International School (BCIS) offers Grade 1 -12 both Vietnamese national curriculum and Ontario ESL curriculum based on the STEP assessment and ESL guidelines. Starting in 2021, BCIS also became an official Cambridge School and has begun offering IGCSE courses. - The Canada-Vietnam Kindergarten (CVK) admits children from ages 2 – 5 years. - The Canadian International School - Lao Cai (CIS - Lao Cai) will be the 5th member school of CISS (Canadian International School System - CISS) and is located at intersection 19/5 (B9 Road) - B10 Road, Binh Minh Ward, Lao Cai City. - CIS - Lao Cai is recognized as the first ever Alberta Accredited International School in Vietnam approved to offer the Alberta Curriculum. CIS - Lao Cai is also the first international school in the North Western region of Vietnam. Similarly to other international schools in our school system, CIS- Lao Cai adhere to the philosophy of operation for a progressive, humane, and rich national identity education. The school mission is to not only focus on academic achievement but also aims to assist students develop positive personalities, skills, and enthusiasm to succeed in their lives presently and in the future. - THE ALBERT EINSTEIN SCHOOL (AES): - AES offers Grade 1 - 12 the Vietnamese curriculum and students are taught English 17 periods per week using the Edexcel Program from Pearson. Starting in 2019, AES established a partnership with the Haileybury School to give our highschool students a pathway to achieving the Victorian Certification of Education (VCE).
