Position Objective:Responsible for the overall accounting function of the Company (General Accounting, Insurance Accounting, Tax, and Financial Reporting), ensuring full compliance with the accounting regime applicable to life insurance businesses under Vietnamese law and meeting the parent company's consolidated reporting requirements.Roles and Responsibilities1. General Accounting & Finance - Organize the accounting function and maintain accounting books in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards/regime- Control supporting documents, payment processes, fixed asset/equipment management, and accounts receivable/payable - Approve payments in accordance with the Delegation of Authority 2. Insurance Accounting - Set up and control booking entries for insurance products, reconciling with Operation/IT core systems - Control premium collection, commission payments, policy benefit payouts, and agent tax - Coordinate with the other teams to verify items relating to P&L3. Reporting & Tax - Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, Solvency, Notes) and periodic regulatory reports per Ministry of Finance requirements - Manage tax matters: filing, payment, and related issues - Act as the primary contact for the appointed external auditor 4. Fund/Cash Management - Manage daily cash flow and bank account operations - Oversee fund separation between shareholder and policyholder funds, and surplus distribution - Manage corporate cards and other expenses per policy 5. Policy & Systems - Develop and issue company-wide accounting policies and procedures - Support IT system setup for accounting (mapping with the core insurance system) - Provide accounting data/analysis to support management decision-making6.
