- The Head of Finance & Accounting is responsible for leading and overseeing the Company's Finance and Accounting functions, ensuring sound financial management, accurate reporting, effective internal controls, statutory compliance, and alignment with Group objectives. - Operating within a complex multinational matrix environment, the incumbent must possess exceptional leadership capability, strong executive presence, and the ability to influence stakeholders across Country, Regional, Commercial, Operations, Procurement, and Shared Service functions. Scope and Accountability: 1. Strategic Leadership - Serve as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director and Country Leadership Team. - Actively participate in strategic planning, commercial discussions, business reviews, and leadership decision-making. - Drive the organization's financial strategy to support growth, profitability, cash optimization, and shareholder returns. - Provide independent and objective financial leadership on strategic business decisions. - Challenge assumptions and ensure decision making is supported by rigorous financial analysis. - Balance growth ambitions with sound financial governance and risk management. - Partner with Commercial, Operations, Procurement, HR, and other functional leaders to drive business performance and cost efficiency. 2. Financial Governance & Oversight - Lead and oversee the Finance & Accounting function to ensure sound financial governance and operational effectiveness. - Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial information. - Establish and maintain effective internal control systems. - Ensure compliance with Group policies and local regulations. 3. Business Performance Management - Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, strategic planning, and long-range financial plans. - Develop robust financial models to support business decision-making. - Lead monthly business performance reviews. - Drive improvement initiatives when financial gaps are identified. 4. Treasury & Risk Management - Oversee liquidity, treasury, banking, and funding strategies. - Monitor exposure to financial, tax, operational, and compliance risks. - Ensure effective risk mitigation and business continuity planning. 5. Compliance & Audit - Lead all internal and external audits. - Develop and maintain a strong audit readiness culture. - Address audit findings promptly and effectively. - Drive permanent corrective actions and process improvements. - Lead enterprise risk management initiatives. - Ensure regulatory compliance across all finance and accounting activities. 6. Leadership & People Management - Provide leadership and direction to the Finance & Accounting function. - Develop organizational capabilities to support business growth and operational excellence. - Drive talent management, succession planning, and employee development initiatives. - Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement. - Ensure effective resource planning and team performance across the Finance & Accounting organization. 7.
