Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
Certification: Valid Chief Accountant Certificate (Chứng chỉ Kế toán trưởng) is MANDATORY.
Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience in Accounting & Finance, with at least 3 years as a Chief Accountant or Accounting Manager in FDI manufacturing companies.
Experience in greenfield project setup (plant construction phase, CapEx, VAT refund) is strongly preferred.
Experience in the chemical or heavy manufacturing industry is a major plus.
Languages: Fluent in English (Written and Verbal) – Must be capable of direct daily communication with the foreign Managing Director.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or VAS-compliant software) and advanced MS Excel.
Key Competencies:
Strong knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and local tax law updates.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and government liaison skills.
High integrity, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently in a startup environment.

Job Title: Chief Accountant / Senior Finance Manager
Location: Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City / other business locations)
Reporting Line: General Director / Factory Manager / HQ Manager (Korea)

Key Responsibilities
1. Initial Setup & Construction Phase (CapEx & Tax)
Establish the company’s VAS-compliant accounting system, Chart of Accounts (COA), and financial workflows from scratch.
Manage CapEx budgets, construction contracts, civil works, and machinery procurement for the Phú Mỹ factory project.
Handle VAT Refund applications for factory construction and apply for Import Duty Exemptions on imported machinery/equipment.
Manage Direct Investment Capital Account (DICA), cross-border remittances, and banking procedures.
2. Financial Management & Tax Compliance
Perform legal duties as Chief Accountant, including co-signing tax reports, financial statements, and bank transactions.
Prepare and submit all statutory tax filings (CIT, VAT, PIT, FCT) in compliance with Vietnamese Tax Regulations.
Act as the primary liaison for local tax authorities (Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu Tax Department), external auditors, and banks.
Implement chemical manufacturing cost accounting systems prior to commercial operations.
3. Reporting & Communication
Provide direct, fluent English reporting and strategic financial advice to the Foreign Managing Director.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages for HQ reporting (adjusting VAS to IFRS/K-GAAP standards).
Working Conditions
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 / Saturday 08:00-12:00
Salary: Negotiable based on experience and language skills
