Electrical Pre-Construction Engineer, Estimation

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Industrial Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 7-10 years of experience in building electrical design, estimation, including direct experience of high-end resort/hotel projects (candidates who have worked on at least 2–3 medium/large-scale resort projects are preferred). - Experience, knowledgeable in extra low voltage (ELV) and fire alarm systems in compliance with Vietnamese national standards (TCVN). - Solid understanding of the calculation principles, layout, and coordination of other MEP systems serving apartments/villas, including HVAC (cooling), water supply and drainage. - Strong understanding of lighting design: - Knowledgeable in lighting systems for indoor and outdoor spaces (gardens, swimming pools, walkways, landscape) in compliance with TCVN standards. - Able to select lighting fixtures suited to the resort's architectural/interior concept (decorative lighting, architectural lighting, landscape lighting, wall-wash lighting, underwater pool lighting, etc.). - Able to coordinate with architects/light designers to ensure aesthetics are balanced with energy efficiency. - Solid understanding of lighting control systems: - Knowledgeable and experienced in implementing control protocols: DALI, KNX, DMX, 0-10V, or smart lighting control systems integrated with BMS. - Preference for candidates who have worked with international design consultancy firms or projects with a foreign element (5-star and above resorts, international brands). - Proficient in software: AutoCAD, Revit, DiaLux/Relux, etc. - Solid command of electrical system design standards. - Clear understanding of resort lighting characteristics: balancing aesthetics (mood lighting, ambient lighting) with energy efficiency. - Experience coordinating with ID (Interior Designers) and specialized Lighting Designers — able to read, calculate, and prepare a full budget based on lighting concept drawings. - Fluency in written and spoken English. - Sensitive to aesthetics/guest experience (the resort industry requires a different mindset compared to purely industrial construction). - Multi-party coordination skills: architects, ID, lighting consultants, investors. - Able to handle the nature of resort projects, which often involve frequent design changes driven by aesthetic requirements during implementation. - Experience with solar power/energy storage systems (PV, BESS) is a strong advantage (in line with the green/energy-saving resort trend). - Experience on industrial projects is a plus. - Honesty, loyalty and dedication are a must.
