Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement or a related field.

At least three years of relevant experience in procurement, material supply or supplier management in steel or steel related industries.

Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, knowledge with SAP systems is an advantage.

Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with relevant departments.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Vietnamese and English.

Summary

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for handling all purchase requests including materials, spare parts, tools, etc. This position ensures that all purchase requests are delivered in the correct specifications, quantities, quality, cost and timeframe to support continuous and efficient production operations.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Receive, review and process purchase requests from all Company departments.

Purchase materials, spare parts according to production needs and required deadlines.

Source, evaluate and manage existing and potential suppliers.

Obtain quotations, compare purchasing terms and negotiate prices, quality, delivery schedules and payment terms.

Track purchase orders and delivery progress, and resolve late deliveries, shortages or non-conforming goods.

Monitor and evaluate supplier performance.

Maintain purchasing, supplier, quotation, purchase order and other relevant records in compliance with ISO, FSSC certification requirements.

Analyze costs and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and supply continuity.

Claim handling management.

Inventory management.

Prepare procurement reports and perform other duties as required by Manager.
