Product Solution Engineer - EV Charger

ABOUT CHARGECORE GLOBAL

ChargeCore Global is a leading provider specializing in research, manufacturing, and supply of electric vehicle (EV) charging and energy solutions.

+ Headquarters (China): Responsible for R&D and production.

+ Vietnam: Oversees commercial operations, after-sales service, market research, product testing, and collaborates with the global R&D team to develop localized solutions tailored to customer needs.

Core Products: AC/DC EV chargers, Battery Swap Stations (BSS), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and solar solutions, and backend management platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. RFP & Pre-sales Solution

Review customer RFPs, tenders, and technical requirements.

Prepare technical proposals, SOR, datasheets, and compliance matrices.

Join technical meetings with customers together with Sales/BD.

2. New Product Development

Gather customer requirements, create solution descriptions for new EV charging, BSS, and energy products.

Develop technical specifications, use cases, and test cases.

Collaborate with R&D China to align product development with market requirements.

3. Product Testing & Validation

Conduct validation tests based on specs and use cases.

Assess compatibility between chargers and EV models.

Verify OCPP backend integration and connectivity.

Work with customers for product approval and certification (IEC 61851, IEC 62196, EMC, CE/UL/ETL, QCVN).

4. Product Improvement

Collect feedback from after-sales teams, propose enhancements.

Improve performance, stability, usability, and reduce error rates.

Coordinate with R&D China for implementation.

5. After-Sales Technical Support

Provide Level 2 technical support for complex issues.

Deliver technical training sessions for service teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunications, Automation, or related.

+ 2–6 years of experience in EV charging, battery swapping, inverter/solar, ESS, UPS, or power electronics.

+ Solid understanding of electrical systems and power electronics; able to read schematics and analyze device logs.

+ Hands-on experience with embedded programming, firmware, MCU (STM32), Modbus/CAN bus/RS485 is an advantage.

+ Knowledge of OCPP, ISO 15118, IEC 61851, CCS, CHAdeMO, GB/T is a strong advantage.

+ Experience in RFP/proposal preparation, product validation, certification, interoperability testing, or after-sales support.

+ Ability to work between customers and R&D, writing specs, testing, and supporting product lifecycle.

+ Communication-level English; Chinese proficiency is a major plus for direct collaboration with R&D China.

+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

WHAT WE OFFER

+ Competitive salary ($1,200 - $1,800) with performance-based bonuses (2-3 months).

+ Working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday

+ Annual leave: 14 days/year, +1 day every 2 years (max 7 days)

+ 100% salary during probation, 100% salary contribution to social insurance

INTERVIEW

+ First round: In Vietnamese with Direct Manager at ChargeCore office in Long Bien, Hanoi

+ Second round: In English or Chinese with Global Director via Google Meet
