Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Fresh Graduates: Open to candidates with relevant academic projects, internships, or basic PCB design knowledge.

• Experienced Candidates: Minimum 2 years of practical PCB layout design experience.

Technical Qualifications

• Basic understanding of PCB design concepts and electronic circuits.

• Experience or familiarity with Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, or similar PCB design tools.

• For experienced candidates, knowledge of:

- Multilayer PCB design

- Differential pair routing

- Basic impedance control

- DFM guidelines

- PCB fabrication and assembly processes

• Experience in PCB manufacturing documentation is an advantage.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented PCB (Substrate) Designer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will support PCB and substrate layout development, design verification, and manufacturing documentation throughout the product development process.

This position is open to both Fresh Graduates and experienced PCB Designers. Comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided to develop expertise in advanced PCB and substrate design technologies, with opportunities for career growth based on experience and performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. PCB & Substrate Design

• Create, update, and maintain PCB layouts using Cadence Allegro or similar PCB design tools.

• Perform component placement, fan-out, and signal routing.

• Support differential pair routing and basic high-speed PCB design.

• Support PCB footprint, library, and design database maintenance.

• Prepare design documentation and manufacturing outputs.

2. Design Verification

• Perform Design Rule Checks (DRC) and connectivity verification.

• Support design reviews and implement engineering changes.

• Ensure designs comply with applicable design and manufacturing requirements.

3. Manufacturing Support

• Prepare manufacturing deliverables such as Gerber, ODB++, and fabrication documentation.

• Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews.

• Work with manufacturing teams and suppliers to resolve design and production-related issues.

4. Team Collaboration

• Work closely with PCB, Mechanical, Test, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams.

• Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and continuous improvement activities.

• Support knowledge sharing and contribute to team development.
