Required Experience
- Minimum two years of relevant experience in professional audio, audio system integration, technical product training, pre-sales, application engineering, technical marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience presenting technical topics to dealers, technicians, customers, or public audiences.
- Experience in collaborating across Sales, Marketing, channel partners, and technical stakeholders is preferred.
Education and Technical Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, Acoustics, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Solid knowledge of professional audio products, signal flow, audio networking, system applications, and basic system configuration.
- Experience with audio simulation, measurement, configuration, or control software is an advantage.
Language Requirements
- Professional proficiency in Vietnamese and working proficiency in English, including the ability to understand technical documentation and deliver presentations.

Key Performance Indicators
- Number and quality of technical workshops, seminars, demonstrations, and community engagement activities delivered.
- Percentage and certain number of active dealers, SI partners and audio engineers/ sound men/ technicians in the market trained, certified, and actively applying Yamaha solutions.
- Number of qualified opportunities, specifications, and end-user engagements influenced through technical marketing activities.
- Quantity and quality of reusable training assets, application guides, reference configurations, and digital technical content developed.
- Frequency and effectiveness of market intelligence, competitor analysis, and product-marketing recommendations submitted and adopted.
- Commercial revenue ownership remains with Sales. Technical Product Marketing is measured primarily on market influence, capability development, education impact, and technical demand generation rather than direct sales quota.
- Repair-ticket volume and warranty-response time are not primary performance measures for this position.

A. Technical Responsibilities – 80%
- Technical application and solution expertise: Analyze customer operating environments and translate requirements into suitable Yamaha product applications, signal-flow concepts, compatible configurations, and practical solution recommendations.
- System configuration and validation: Configure, connect, test, and validate professional audio products, audio networks, control software, and demonstration systems to ensure stable and effective operation.
- Technical demonstrations and education: Prepare and conduct product demonstrations, technical workshops, seminars, webinars, product clinics, and hands-on sessions for end users, engineers, consultants, dealers, and system integrators.
- Channel technical capability development: Design and deliver structured product, application, and solution training; develop certification pathways, reference configurations, technical sales tools, application guides, FAQs, and reusable learning modules.
- Technical pre-sales and specification support: Support Sales on strategic, new, or complex opportunities through product selection, compatibility checks, application fit, technical clarification, demonstrations, and spec-in guidance.
- Technical readiness for launches and events: Prepare systems, cabling, configurations, demonstration workflows, and technical requirements for launches, exhibitions, workshops, and brand activities. Maintain the Yamaha Digital Audio Creative Center as a demonstration and learning environment.
- Technical documentation and knowledge management: Convert recurring technical inquiries into standardized troubleshooting notes, configuration templates, application references, and scalable training resources.
- Technical market engagement: Maintain regular engagement with audio engineers, technicians, consultants, dealers, and system integrators to identify application needs, capability gaps, competitor solutions, and product feedback.
B. Marketing Responsibilities – 20%
• Product marketing and launch support: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to define target segments, technical value propositions, use cases, campaign messages, launch plans, and market-development activities.
• Technical marketing content: Provide technical input and create accurate product comparisons, scripts, demonstrations, customer use cases, application stories, webinar materials, and digital learning content.
• Market insight: Consolidate customer feedback, competitor activity, and application trends into practical recommendations for training, content, product positioning, and market-development priorities.
• Cross-functional collaboration and role boundaries: Partner with Sales, Marketing, dealers, and system integrators while retaining ownership of technical market development. Dealers and system integrators remain responsible for detailed system design, drawings, bills of materials, installation planning, commissioning, project engineering, and first-line support. This role does not own repair, warranty, spare parts, complaint handling, or routine Customer Service tickets.
• Perform other relevant duties assigned by the line manager.
