Tooling Project Engineer

Mission

The Tooling Project Engineer ensures the industrialization and organization of industrial production while respecting costs, quality and delivery targets.

Manage the development, qualification and lifecycle of plastic injection molds with local suppliers, ensuring manufacturing capacity, tooling performance and compliance with project requirements. He/she will:

- Analyze the causes of product non-conformities and implement action plans

- Manage continuous improvement actions

- Manage the manufacturing teams (project, production…)

- Manage the process in accordance with management standards (quality, environment, information systems security, etc.)

- Manage the lifecycle of plastic injection molds with local suppliers.

- Ensure mold maintenance, repair and modification activities are properly planned and executed.

- Monitor tooling performance, utilization and capacity throughout product life.

- Lead and follow-up mold development activities during New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.

- Coordinate mold design reviews, mold trials and validation phases with suppliers and internal teams to ensure tooling readiness to meet project milestones and production ramp-up targets.

- Assess suppliers' molding capabilities, capacity and technical competence.

- Coordinate Engineering Change Notices (ECN) impacting molds, tooling and manufacturing processes."
