Country Manager | Industrial Automation, Motion Control & Drive

Lead the Vietnam business with full responsibility for commercial growth, strategic account development, channel expansion, and team leadership across industrial automation, motors, drives, and related solutions.

Description

Business Leadership

* Lead the overall Vietnam business and own P&L responsibility.

* Develop and execute annual business plans to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets.

* Drive sustainable business growth while ensuring operational efficiency.

Sales & Business Development

* Identify and develop new business opportunities across manufacturing, F&B, heavy industry, HVAC, data centers, utilities, and OEM segments.

* Build and execute market expansion strategies.

* Lead complex sales cycles and strategic project pursuits.

Key Account Management

* Develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders of major accounts.

* Expand business within strategic customers and increase market penetration.

* Manage long-term customer development plans and commercial negotiations.

Channel Development

* Strengthen and expand distributor, OEM, and system integrator networks.

* Implement channel growth strategies and partner enablement programs.

* Ensure alignment between partners and company objectives.

Team Leadership

* Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing commercial team.

* Establish clear KPIs, performance management systems, and succession plans.

* Foster a customer-focused and growth-oriented culture.

Market Strategy

* Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and emerging opportunities.

* Collaborate with regional functions to execute strategic initiatives.

* Provide market intelligence to support product and business development decisions.

Profile

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

* 10+ years of experience within industrial automation, motion control, drives, motors, electrical solutions, or industrial technology sectors.

* Demonstrated success in business development, strategic account management, and solution selling.

* Proven experience managing distributors, OEMs, system integrators, and direct industrial customers.

* Strong commercial acumen with previous P&L exposure.

* Track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams.

* Excellent leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

* Fluent in English with experience working in multinational environments.
