YOUR BACKGROUND
- Experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or process improvement within manufacturing environment
- Familiar with new product introduction (NPI), APQP, and manufacturing system design
- Experience in productivity improvement, line balancing, and process optimization
- Experience in handling engineering changes and cross-functional coordination
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering
- Experience in wiring harness or similar manufacturing environment is preferred
- Knowledge of engineering tools, process design, and lean manufacturing techniques

YOUR ROLE
As an Industrial Engineering Supervisor, you will lead IE activities to design, develop, and improve manufacturing systems for both new and existing products. You will support new program launches, drive productivity improvement, and manage IE team performance to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Industrial Engineering activities for new product introduction from prototype through SOP
- Develop and manage manufacturing system design, including process flow, layout, and resource planning
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure IE deliverables meet project timelines and milestones
- Support APQP activities including PFD, PFMEA, and process reviews
- Participate in design for manufacturing (DFM) activities and follow up on open issues
- Support new business quotations by providing accurate manufacturing inputs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Develop and monitor improvement plans to achieve cost, volume, and cycle time targets
- Track and ensure closure of IE-related tasks and action plans
- Review KPIs and analyze performance gaps, implementing corrective actions where necessary
- Lead and manage IE team daily activities, including workload balancing and resource allocation
- Develop team capability through training, coaching, and performance management
- Share best practices and lessons learned across plant and regional teams
Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)
- Comply with Versigent EHS policies and support site EHS objectives and targets
- Ensure compliance with all safety rules, procedures, and legal requirements
- Maintain a safe, clean, and environmentally responsible working environment
- Identify, report, and follow up on unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and hazards
- Support risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions
- Promote safety awareness, safe behaviour, and continuous EHS improvement
