Key Responsibilities: Pricing Strategy Development: • Develop and implement effective ocean carrier/airlines freight pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness in the market. • Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and pricing benchmarks. • Monitor and adjust pricing strategies based on market conditions and business requirements. Carrier Relations: • Negotiate rates and contracts with carrier/airlines and other service providers. • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers to secure favorable pricing and terms. • Evaluate carrier performance and address any service issues to ensure high-quality service delivery. Cost Analysis and Optimization: • Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. • Monitor and control expenses to ensure cost-effective pricing solutions. • Utilize data and analytics to optimize pricing strategies and enhance profitability. Sales and Customer Support: • Collaborate with the sales team to provide competitive pricing solutions for clients. • Support the sales team in responding to pricing inquiries and preparing quotations. • Ensure timely and accurate communication of pricing information to clients and stakeholders. Compliance and Documentation: • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. • Maintain accurate records of pricing agreements, contracts, and related documentation. • Implement and maintain effective quality control procedures.
