- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in market research, sales and business analysis, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of market analysis, competitive intelligence, sales performance, and business planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable business insights.
- Experience with data analytics tools is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Full professional proficiency in English.

Job Purpose Summary:
The Marketing Analysis and Projects Expert is responsible for providing market intelligence, sales analysis, and data-driven insights to support business growth and commercial decision-making. This role analyzes market trends, competitive dynamics, sales performance, customer behavior, and market opportunities to help the organization identify growth potential and improve sales effectiveness. Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
1. Market Intelligence
- Monitor the Competitive Landscape & Develop Competitor Intelligence: Collect, consolidate, and analyze market intelligence, and develop geographic mapping of competitors’ Air Separation Units (ASUs) and production facilities to assess market coverage, market shares, production capacity, and competitive positioning.
- Provide Strategic Market Insights: Leverage and consolidate relevant market data to identify market trends, assess their direction and implications, and provide actionable insights to the Sales & Marketing Management Team to support business planning.
- Competitor & Market Pricing: Conduct regular surveys and analyses of competitor pricing practices, market practices, and changes in commercial approaches to provide relevant benchmarks and support pricing and commercial decision-making.
2. Customer Segmentation & Contracts Analytics
- Customer Market Segmentation: Continuously maintain and analyze the customer base segmentation and customer profiles as per internal standards.
- Customer Margin Segmentation: Design and implement a Volume x EBITDA Margin segmentation to identify high-value customers, particularly those generating high consumption volumes and the largest gross margins, to develop dedicated customer engagement programs and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives and support regular pricing actions.
- Contractual Commitment Monitoring: Identify customers that fail to meet their minimum contractual purchase commitments and provide findings and recommendations to the Legal and Sales teams to support appropriate actions, including penalty enforcement and/or contract-term adjustments during renewal negotiations.
- Contract Performance Audit: Conduct periodic reviews of long-term commercial contracts, particularly Take-or-Pay agreements, to assess contractual performance and compliance.
3. Pricing Excellence
- Energy Cost Impact Analysis: Closely monitor industrial electricity tariffs, including peak and off-peak rates, as well as transportation fuel costs. Quantify, with the support of the Controlling department, the impact of changes in energy input costs on the production cost per ton of liquefied industrial gases produced at ASU facilities.
- Price Escalation Management: On a quarterly or annual basis, calculate and recommend selling price adjustments based on contractual escalation indices, including CPI, PPI, and EVN electricity tariffs, as stipulated in long-term customer contracts.
- Price Escalation Tracking: Monitor and track the application of contractual price escalation formulas to ensure that agreed mechanisms are appropriately and consistently applied.
4. Digital Transformation & Projects
- Design, update and run the annual customer satisfaction survey and present clear results to managers with action proposals.
- Support internal development of customer-oriented application projects, like MesserConnect, by defining, assessing and summarizing Marketing requirements and their alignment with the market..
- Support continuous improvement, digital transformation, and automation initiatives within the Sales and Marketing functions, such as the Telemetry project.
